Artist Bio
My
name is Helena Hennessey. Born and raised in
Philadelphia, PA, I received a B.A. from the
University of Oklahoma. After many careers, I
turned my attention to the arts full time. I have
worked in various mediums through the years and have
made art a full-time profession for the last decade.
I am consistently challenged to
create unique and functional pieces. My collections
are high fired, kiln-worked glass to include vases,
dishes, candle vessels, wine bottle toppers (Spirit
Savers™) and a unique line of jewelry pendants
and earrings.
Each piece is individually crafted, one of a kind
and signed.
Variations within the glass are normal and adds to
the artistic value. My personal appeal to bright and
primary colors within my artwork, is significant to
my optimism and light spirited way of living.
My studio is on the Central Coast of
California and I look forward to greater
opportunities and expanding.
